History
Atlas Forwarding International was founded by Rowan Cruise
in May 2000 out of the need to supply a freight forwarding
service that is consistently reliable, cost effective
and with personalised customer service, in other words
something that was lacking in our industry. We quickly
grew and formed an agent network worldwide so that we
can handle all of your freight requirements no matter
where you do business globally.
We soon expanded our services beyond Airfreight Import
and Export to include multimodul transportation such as
sea freight, road, rail and Air to Sea and Sea to Air
conversions to better meet all our customers' requirements...
a one stop shop. Today
We have turned what can be a complicated industry into
a much more streamlined and efficient process through
simple but effective logistic ideas and practices. By
now most freight importers and exporters have heard all
the sales pitches, but rarely get the result they have
been promised. We consistently deliver what we say we
can do by being knowledgeable and aligning ourselves with
reliable service partners both locally and internationally.
We have aligned our company will similar, reliable, family
owned agents in almost every country, so feel safe in
the knowledge that we can handle your cargo professionally
in whatever country you do or seek to do business in.
Recent days has seen us expand our Australian network
of offices to cover all major cities in Australia as part
of a group known as CAGA (Cargo Alliance Group of Australia),
this means we can now be a one stop shop for all your
freight needs both domestically and internationally.
Future
The future of Atlas Forwarding is a bright one; we are
continually expanding our agent network and improving
our software systems to keep up with market demands. We
will in the near future have user friendly 'order tracking'
software that will actually work for you and provide our
customers with a tool that will keep them well informed,
and save you valuable time in planning and management
of your entire cargo supply chain.
